Today, I love being a mom.
I love the fact that if I make french toast at 6:00 am, with a side of frying bacon, my kids will sing my praises. They may even smile, which is not easy for them at that hour of the morning.
I love that I can wake my two-year-old with a touch on his soft cheek, and without even opening his eyes, he says, "Hi, Mom". He knows it's me. Just by the touch.
I love that my children are old enough to get themselves dressed (mostly), but still need me.
I love my life.
Please remind me of this when I begin to gripe.
