Once upon a time there was a brand new Cub Scout...
...and he made a cake with his mom for the annual Blue & Gold banquet.
He was proud of his cake!
That Cub Scout worked hard on his achievements at home, and earned his first yellow bead.
He was excited about his first bead!
His brothers were not.
Well, except maybe this one, whose middle name is "Enthusiasm".
The Cub Scout won an award for his cake. It was proclaimed "The Raciest".
He couldn't understand why his family all of a sudden got the giggles.
--Oh, and just kidding about the older brothers. That photo was taken while waiting for the meeting to start. They clapped and cheered with the best of them when little bro got his bead... Once a Scout, always a Scout!
Next month, it's Pinewood Derby time! Woot!

oddly enough - I was nearly done reading your post when I stopped to wonder about the Boy Scouts of America... in England... hmmm...
because a few of my local Canadian friends have been turned down as leaders because of their lack of citizenship...
whatever - yay for Josh and the excitement... our Cub Scout years were fast, furious, and now... over. ;)
One of the many things that I get to looked forward to!!
